About Us

 

EAC was founded in 2008  and  we are working with UNICEF and the government Ministry of Sport, Youth and WASART AFRICA YOUTH MOVEMENT who are a top scientific research team  who at the time felt a need for organisations to share best practice in working with children and to learn from one another.

This NETWORK started after the founder Festus Chuma took part in conducting clinical trials conducted by WASART Africa Youth movement and hence got encouragement to start a humanitarian organisation to serve children in Africa

In December 2008 it was decided that the network be formalised and an independent structure and secretariat were established.

The network has since broadened its scope and is currently working in three programme areas; namely

Research and Advocacy

Knowledge Development and Information.
